  • Clairault Streicker Wines

    Address:
3277 Caves Road, Wilyabrup WA, Australia .

Clairault Streicker Wines are a family of premium wines, crafted from our privately-owned vineyards in the Margaret River Wine Appellation of Western Australia.

Since 1976 we have grown from a modest four-hectare estate to just under 200 hectares of premium Margaret River vineyards.

Our continuous commitment to quality vineyard management and sound ecological practices, combined with our unparalleled geographic advantages have led to a catalogue of exceptional wines.

With vineyards in three Margaret River sub-regions -Yallingup, Wilyabrup, and Karridale, Clairault and Streicker Wines have the capacity to make the most of Margaret River's diverse growing conditions.

The cooler climate and longer growing season at our Bridgeland Block, near Rosa Glen, produces some of the region's best aromatic whites and is home to the trophy winning cold-climate Streicker Syrah.

In Wilyabrup, our Ironstone Block of old vines produces outstanding single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay while further to the North, the original Clairault Vineyards –with vines planted as early as 1976 –add other components of varietal and soil conditions choices to our portfolio.

  • House of Cards Winery

    Address:
3220 Caves Rd, Yallingup WA 6282, Australia .

Elizabeth & Travis  established House of Cards in 2011 after they returned to Yallingup from travelling overseas where Travis completed vintages in New Zealand and Canada. Ever since then they have thrown everything into creating a brand which reflects our passion for creating single vineyard wines of exceptional quality.

They produce about 50 tonnes of their own fruit each year from our 12 hectare vineyard in Yallingup. They grow sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, merlot, shiraz, malbec, petit verdot and cabernet sauvignon. They already grow 3 different clones of cabernet sauvignon and are looking at experimenting with clones of different varieties in the future. They believe that to create beautiful wine you must first start with fruit of outstanding quality. They use organic sprays, cover crops and mushroom compost throughout the vineyard to helps us produce the best fruit possible while also focussing on environmental sustainability. They are currently in the process of becoming a certified organic vineyard.

Their wine is hand made by them in their winery using traditional winemaking practises including hand plunging and manual basket pressing. Their wines change each year depending on vintage conditions and different winemaking trials that Travis conducts in the winery. Being single vineyard wines however they all have a remarkable sense of place which can be seen from year to year.

They love what They do. They get to live in paradise with their gorgeous boys and create an amazing product that people love. They don’t have plans to get bigger… just better each year. They hope you love what They do as much as we love drinking it.
